Loneliness may be the early symptom of dementia!

Do you often feel lonely? Be careful, this may be the early symptom of dementia! Researchers at Harvard University conducted a survey through recombinant human proteins on 79 adults, 32% of whom had a high level of Alzheimer's disease and the remainder was normal.

The researchers asked everyone to give their own sense of loneliness grade from a minimum of 3 points up to 12 points, hoping to clarify their cerebral cortex amyloid levels and the relationship between loneliness. Amyloid protein accumulation in the brain will form plaques, causing brain cell death, resulting in memory loss and triggering Alzheimer's disease. The researchers found that volunteers had an average score of 5.3, while those with higher levels of amyloid were more likely to feel lonely and that association was also found in those with high levels of apolipoprotein E.

Dr. Nancy Donovan, who led the study, wrote in the Journal of the American Medical Association Psychiatric Volume that the findings will help doctors identify Alzheimer's disease as early as possible. Statistics show that there are currently 47.5 million dementia patients worldwide, of which the most common one is Alzheimer's disease. It is estimated that the proportion of over the age of 65 elderly people suffering from dementia will reach one-third, and the older they are, the higher the proportion is. Dementia can't be cured and the symptoms can only be relieved through medication. Flarebio offers recombinant proteins of good quality such as recombinant Dpp4.
